Checkpoint-Friendly Laptop Cases

When traveling, if you cannot FedEx your flashdrive to your destination point, and insist on taking your laptop onboard your next flight, consider this:

Incipio Technologies Inc. has just rolled out a new line of Transportation Security Association (TSA) checkpoint-friendly laptop cases that target Apple’s entire line of MacBook computers, ranging from the super thin MacBook Air to regular MacBooks and the Pro versions.  Each of these Incipio QuickCheck cases will come in a slim form that not only offers everyday protection from bumps and knocks, it also offers optimal function and protection through the airlines’ TSA security checkpoint process without requiring the user to take the laptop out of its case. This can reduce the amount of time it takes to get through a security checkpoint.

Targus Inc., another maker of laptop computer cases and accessories, sells Zip-Thru corporate traveler laptop cases. As a derivative of Targus’ Corporate Traveler line, this case is also designed to help eliminate having to remove a laptop from its  case when passing through airport security, thereby minimizing the possibility of the laptop being lost, stolen or damaged during the security screening process.

And Mobile Edge unveiled three checkpoint-friendly cases as part of its new ScanFast Collection. They consists of a backpack, a briefcase and a messenger bag, all designed to conveniently open for airport screeners. The new cases from Mobile Edge have been tested and meet the new TSA guidelines for carry-on luggage.
