Jim Parkman: E&P Start-Up Veterans You Should Talk To First

Before getting started on your own E&P company, Jim Parkman, co-founder of investment-banking firm Parkman Whaling LLC, Houston, suggests speaking to individuals who’ve done it before, successfully.

Parkman, who was a co-founder of I-banking firm Petrie Parkman & Co., which was sold in 2006 to Merrill Lynch, was among speakers at Oil and Gas Investor’s inaugural “Energy Capital–The Workshop: Starting and Building an E&P Company” June 9 in Houston.
