Stephen Payne joined Oil and Gas Investor in March 2006. In addition to contributing to the magazine, Stephen is editor of the Oil and Gas Investor This Week newsletter. He holds a Master’s in Political Science and a Bachelor’s in Journalism.
A graduate of Sam Houston State University, he worked on his college newspaper, The Houstonian, for more than two years and wrote freelance for the Houston Chronicle before joining Hart Energy Publishing. He also was the film critic for The Memorial-Spring Branch Sun community newspaper for two years.
Stephen’s interests include science fiction, politics, writing fiction, movie trivia and an unhealthy fascination with B-movies. A reader of his blog should be prepared for unnecessary references to Friday the 13th Part 2 and frequent attacks on communism.
